Hi. I'm Markus Walzthöni. My interest in the technical domain began with the age of 8 years, with my grandfather showing me simple physical experiments. With the age of 14 I decided to enroll at the HTL - Anichstrasse at the department of electrical engineering and finished 5 years later. After several years of gathering experience as an engineer (see CV) I decided in 2010 to enroll at the University of Innsbruck.
Since finishing my B.Sc degree in computer science, my interest in physically based simulations and parallel computing rose. From 2015 to 2017 I joined the Distributed and Parallel Systems Group to gain working experience in research groups and knowledge in the field of compiler construction and parallel computing.

Currently I'm a Ph.D. Researcher in the IGS-Group (Dep. of Computer Science / University of Innsbruck).
